I was trying to work out how I could stop adverts for WOW Gold appearing on Google’s ads on my blog, then I thought… Hang on a minute! My readers are intelligent, sensible folks. They won’t be stupid enough to buy wow gold!! And if anyone clicks the ad out of curiosity, the Gold Sellers will be paying per click for the ads so it’ll cost them (not much but it all adds up!). I used to advertise on Google and for every one click, the advertiser pays x amount. So, I figured I’d leave the ads there, and just make sure my readers know not to buy WOW Gold!! And if you do click so the evil gold sellers have to pay a penny or whatever, make sure your virus protection is up-to-date as who knows what you could catch off their sites!
Why not?
Apart from the fact that it is against the terms and conditions, Gold Sellers are Evil! I think I am safe to say that most if not all acquire this gold by hacking into wow accounts and farming through those. I was stupid enough to have my account hacked a couple of years ago by a Trojan virus. By the time I got it back my account was on a final warning for gold selling. And you were thinking of giving these guys your credit card details?!
Besides, Gold is really easy to make in-game (dailies, professions, even raids – I used to come out of a Naxx 10 run about 200 Gold better off).
